Emma's Task

Before I started this course I done a few courses in Outdoor Pursuits,I did courses with Raleigh International,Venture Trust,Fairbridge.Where I did kayaking,snowboarding,rock climbing and hill walking,I was in Chile for 3 months where I helped the community by clearing up their gymnasium,and teaching English then clearing up the beach area so that they could have barbecues.

In the second month I went to Patagonia where I did mountain trek and helped to dig out I snow hole for the group and slept in it,we also climbed a few peaks and practised using the ice axe down a small hill in case we trip when we are climbing a bigger hill.

On the third month I went to the San Rafael glacier which took two days to get there by boat,this was the environmental phase we were tracking Kod Kod which is like a domestic cat but they have bigger ears.

I choose this course because I am interested in working in either theatre,or touring with bands that i like and doing their hair and make up.I also decided to do this course as hairdressing is a valuable trade to have and if I wanted to travel I would be able to pick up a job in a salon easily with the qualifications that I will receive on this course.

I want to have a hairdressing career as this is a good trade to have, and I am interested in learning how to be a good hair stylist.

I hope to be a qualified hair stylist and have a job in either a salon or in theatre,I would like to be able to go on tour with the bands that i like and to do their hair and make up.
i don`t really look up to anyone but i do like Japanese hairstyles as they are very different and look good.
